artadia grant winner!!!

just received news i won some money from artadia...a 1500.00 award. all artists should familiarizee themselves with this grant cycle (artadia.org--check the website to see if your city/medium is coming up)...

this info from the website lists the curators that participated in my studio visit:

A second jury will bring Lydia Yee (Senior Curator, Bronx Museum of Art), William Stover (Assistant Curator of Contemporary Art, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston) and Stephanie Smith (Director of Collections and Exhibitions, Curator of Contemporary Art at the Smart Museum of Art, University of Chicago) to Chicago for the final jury and studio visits with each of the finalists. After conducting studio visits in the Chicago area from Thursday, November 16 through Saturday, November 18th, 2006, this jury will select three artists for $15,000 grants and seven artists for $1,500 grants.
