or "slavish obedience" this image i took for visiting austrian installation/video artist michael gumhold, a great artist/terrific new friend who is being put up in a studio for 6 months on milwaukee ave. by the austrian government. when i asked for a little context for my blog visitors, he sent me the following:

"just a few keywords: BLACK-METAL FACEPAINT SPORTS-ARENA CORPSEPAINT SPARETIME-WEAPON...ETC."

now i know that corspepaint was used by norwegian black metal rockers in the early 90's!
