getting some new Nirvana pieces made for an exhibition this spring...finally got to make this piece, one of my favorite submssions to the Nirvana series...her wingspan hitting the frame makes the picture.  reminds me of this nan goldin pic where one of her lovers, topless, is holding on to something high up out of the top of the frame...the merger with the edge creates some nice physical tension...

i just bought the beaver trilogy from trent harris' website.  he emailed me a link to his flingading video site.  just watched THE HEAVENLY TOE TAPPERS, of which he writes:

This is the happiest video I have ever made, THE HEAVENLY TOE TAPPERS! I shot it in the war torn country of Rwanda. These guys are truly a GODSEND! Merry Christmas everybody!
